A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens
Relationships
• Ebenezer Scrooge & Dragons As the Christmas Ghosts (Christmas Carol)
Media
Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Details
I really like the idea of the spirits that visit Scrooge are dragons, and if they keep their regular ideas as a small dragon showing the past, a big dragon of the present, and a terrifying (possibly skeletal) dragon for the future that shows him everything. I'm mostly trying to think about how the sequences might change when it's equally as possible the spirits of the past and might char Scrooge for not getting it, or that their sequences end in fire all the same, even if it's not supposed to roast Scrooge. Really, Scrooge with dragons should be great, no matter which way it goes.

Avatar: Legend of Korra
Relationships
• Dragon!Korra & Tenzin
Media
Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Details
Given Korra's tendency to like firebending, and her hot-headed nature, I can only imagine how much harder it would have been for Tenzin to try and teach her airbending as an actual dragon. And how much more potential damage she might do, depending on how big Korra is as a dragon in relation to her human self. (Or maybe she shifts whenever she's upset, which is often, and she still has to learn how to stay calm to airbend.) How much more she gets on Tenzin's nerves is up to you.

My Little Pony Generation 4: Friendship Is Magic (Cartoon 2010)
Relationships
• Princess Luna & Spike (MLP: FiM)
Media
Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Details
I think that Spike has a lot to potentially talk about with Princess Luna about the worries of being seen forever as someone's second or shadow, or about the worries of letting the worser parts of yourself take over and cause harm to others. Possibly both of those. Either in a dreamscape or in Canterlot, or through correspondence, since Spike already has that method available to him to send and receive letters.
Art ideas for that might be the juxtaposition of them as their usual selves with their less moral (and, to some degree, more powerful) selves together.

Star Trek: Lower Decks (Cartoon)
Relationships
• Brad Boimler & Beckett Mariner & Sam Rutherford & D'Vana Tendi & Space Dragon (ST: LD)
Media
Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Details
We know that the Cerritos Lower Decks crew would have a blast encountering a real actual space dragon. Which would be exactly as ridiculous as they think it would be, including all of the weird, odd, or seemingly arbitrary things that would go along with meeting a space dragon. Any sort of Lower Decks shenanigans that go along with it would be extra fun.

Frozen (Disney Movies)
Relationships
• Dragonhunter!Hans & Frost-dragon!Elsa
Media
Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Details
I think this has real potential, especially with Hans still being the person he is in the canon, trying to find and destroy Elsa the dragon and take over the kingdom that he thinks that Elsa's terrorizing. And equally as much potential for Elsa still getting the upper hand on him as a frost dragon or otherwise. It would make a really nice alternate movie poster, with Hans the dragonhunter and Elsa the dragon. Something that suggests it's going to be more than a musical with happy interludes.
Or make Hans into the least effective dragonhunter ever and let Elsa toy with him repeatedly and possibly even take a little pity on him and try to make him change his line of work, since as a thirteenth son, nobody expects anything of him anyway.

• "Crazy Cat Lady" But Instead Of Cats She Has Dragons & Her Dragons & Her Unhappy Neighbors (OW)
• Cat-Sized Dragon & Dragon's Owner (OW)
• Dragon Librarian & Human Trying to Borrow a Book (Any & Any) (OW)
Media
Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Details
I like all of these possibilities because they're about the way that dragons interact with humans in the world, and I really enjoy the cat-sized dragon idea, because dragons of that size could get up to all sorts of mischief, especially of the sort where the dragons are much more intelligent and could probably do much more malicious mischief to play off as accidental, when it's really about making life not great for the people who are being unkind to the dragons or don't want them around.
The dragon librarian and the human trying to borrow a book seems set up for the classic "trying to get something out of a dragon's hoard" situation, and it could be played up for that way, completely, but what if it's the human who has the belief that it's going to be torturous and terrible and difficult, and the dragon is just waiting for the human to present a library card and check out, or sign up for a library card and check out.

The Adventures of Tom Bombadil - J. R. R. Tolkien
The Dragon & the Young Warrior from 'The Hoard' (ATB), Solo: The Dragon from 'The Hoard' (ATB), Fastitocalon & the Dragon from 'The Hoard' (ATB), Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Anything from this fandom! What if the warrior made a deal with the dragon (and the hoard had not yet made him too greedy)? How long did the dragon grow old on his hoard, was it lonely, were there ever any other dragons? Did he ever visit Fastitocalon, or maybe meet it before he found the hoard? Go wild! I love poesy, if you're so inclined, and Tolkien's drawing style for dragons is cute, if you don't want to go all Alan Lee on him... (Fastitocalon and the dragon having a cuppa on the seashore would be Ultimately Cute though.)
DNW: graphic violence (storybook canon-typical is fine, just no extreme details), piss/scat/vomit,

I LOVE VORLON SHIPS and Vorlons in both aesthetic and story-carrying capacity, so anything from these three would be nice! (We never got the ship's name did we? It's a person, it should have a name!) Some agency on the dragon, please, and otherwise go wild!

So Sybil has achieved a Noble Dragon egg (maybe via Errol and his girlfriend). What happens? Can she tame one? How does Vimes take it? Where will she even keep it? What happens when the dragon grows up (if it eats magic, will it live behing the Unseen University as a hazardous magic facility? and what happens then?) and where will it go, if Vimes won't have it in his city? (yes it's HIS, whatever Vetinari may think) Oooorrrrr, give me a little piece of Sybil training or raising or feeding the swamp dragons! (I loved the bit where they met for the first time during the swamp dragon mating thingy. So awkward. So misunderstood.) Or how does Death treat swamp dragons? What if he had a dragon craze instead of cats? (Would they corrode his bones?)
DNW: graphic violence, piss/scat/vomit in sexual context (dragonkeeping accidents are fine),

Bilbo Baggins/Smaug/Thorin Oakenshield, Smaug & Smaug's Hoard (Hobbit - Book), Solo: Smaug (Hobbit - Book), Medium Opt-In: Art, Medium Opt-In: Fic
Pffft, kudos to whoever nommed Thorin/Bilbo/Smaug... I kind of want to see that now. (I once had an idea about dwarves and dragons in general, but I want to see what Other People can cook off those ingredients.) Also I'm a little miffed that Smaug and his hoard are a & and not /, the amount of Jealousy he exhibits over the theft of one puny cup implies Much Stronger Feelings! In other words, go wild, give me anything. The crackier, the better. Almost no holds barred in this one.
DNW: graphic violence (E-rated, M-rated is fine, as long as it's crack and not the whole point of the story), piss/scat/vomit in sexual context
