I'm not quite sure I understand eligibility here; could I get some clarification?
For example, Charlie Weasley in the Harry Potter series is canonically a dragon scholar. So a general fic about Charlie Weasley is not allowed because he's not a dragon. But a fic about Charlie Weasley studying dragons is allowed because it involves dragons - is that right?
How would that get reflected in the nominations? Like, do I just nominate the character of Charlie Weasley, with the understanding that any requests for him will involve dragons because he's a dragon scholar?
Or if I, say, wanted a shipfic where Harry runs away to hang out with Charlie & the dragons, would I nominate "Harry Potter/Charlie Weasley", with the understanding that any Harry/Charlie fic that's requested/written will involve dragons somehow?
And dragon-AUs are allowed, so I could nominate "Dragonslayer!Harry Potter/Dragon!Draco Malfoy", even though they are not canonically dragons? Or do the characters have to have some vague interaction with dragons in the canon? (I'm not familiar with the Wheel of Time, so I'm not sure how dragon-heavy the series is.)
